As you can guess, I am a ballerina. :) I have been on pointe for six years, and in that time i have learned back-breaking roles such as Giselle and Sleeping Beauty. Sleeping Beauty was my favorite, because I was Aurora. I was also the flower fairy in the Nutcracker. Currently, I am learning the dance version of Tschaikovsky’s Piano Concerto No 2, and then I hope to dance Romeo and Juliet. My dream is to dance the part of Odette/Odile in Swan Lake, and as soloist in Corsaire Pas de Trois.
 

There are so many types of pointe shoes, and the fact that they wear out so easily is a nightmare for prospective ballerinas.
 

 

My favorite ballerina is Suzanne Farrell. She is gifted and extremely pretty. Her livliness and sweet, expressive dancing make her a rarity in the ballet world.
